Petitioners of town warrant articles should NEVER be vilified by ANYONE, whether it comes from a state representative OR a representative of a local entity.
Some people simply sign petitions to support the petitioner for getting involved in their local government, and the signatures may NOT necessarily be an endorsement of the petitioned article.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to NOT antagonize people who are simply trying to become involved with the Town of Hampton and its local government.
