Re-elect Regina Barnes to the Hampton Board of Selectmen

Name: Regina Mary Barnes Age: 44 Address: 95 Presidential Circle Education: Sacred Heart School, (grades 1 – 8) Winnacunnet High School, Class of 1996 Boston University,

Class of 2000 Bachelors of Science Major: Political Science Southern New Hampshire University, Class of 2019 Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Business Plan: Seacoast NH regional water desalination plant

A few long-term sustainability goals for 2022-2025:

  • To sustain the Community of Hampton for future generations, to fulfill the need of newer blood community involvement, and to continue to be a voice for the everyday Hampton voter and citizen.

  • To remain independent from any private or public interest group that operates within the town.

  • We as a town government; boards, management, department heads, and committees must work harder at ensuring proper and thorough communication between each other as well as, to all public citizens and voters on an ongoing, non discriminatory basis.

  • Above all, to continue to be a public servant to the citizens and taxpayers of Hampon.

A few short-term goals for 2022-2025:

  • End the Comcast cable monopoly locally by franchising with another provider, (currently ongoing at a snail pace).

  • Work on more property tax relief for the elderly in Hampton. This can be done simply by increasing the allowed income amount for elderly exemption qualification.

  • Work on more property tax relief for all taxpayers by advocating for user fees in regards to certain town services.

  • Convince the entire Hampton Board of Selectmen that the taxpayers are worth fighting the state of NH for. I would argue that the entire board of selectmen could convince Concord Hampton deserves millions in revenue sharing, specifically for physical, critical infrastructure. I would argue, many municipalities in the state do.

An Invitation: You are invited to come and listen to my message on Saturday, March 6, 2022 at 4:30pm. A message about
