THE HAMPTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE PROPOSED 2025 BUDGET

Being a former selectman , Brian Warburton should have realized it's not a good idea to slash $2,000,000 to the proposed operating budget.

Almost 70% of the budget is contractual and that money is due.  The  slash of the $2 million will go toward what the taxpayers actually want to have the town do over the next year.

The problem with the budget is we have $2,000,000 in it to pick the trash up, but we don't have $2,000,000 in it to fix deplorable roads and infrastructure.
