The town moderator can not just decide to move off a warrant article at the deliberative session (Article 25 at Saturday's Deliberative Session of Town Meeting).

There needs to be a motion, a second, and a vote to restrict discussion on town meeting warrant articles for them to be closed for discussion.

Neither the current nor former selectmen in attendance caught that.
